Meet Our Instructors
Certified Pilates Instructor, Classical Pilates Method
Vivacious and naturally charming, Melissa also brings a lot of knowledge and years of solid experience to our center. Recently the mother of a darling boy, she is enthusiastic about being here where she can teach the way she knows best, that is to identify the imbalances in her clients’ bodies and instruct them through Pilates exercises to correct them. She enjoys working with students of all levels from beginners to advanced as well as those with physical challenges.
Melissa is trained in a variety of exercise forms from Yoga to Gyrotonics and strongly believes in cross training. She is also Polestar trained (Pilates for Physical Therapists). She is very motivated by finding new ways of working with all clients to improve how comfortable they are in their active life and how they look and feel in their bodies.
Pilates Certifications: Balancepoint Pilates and Pilates Method Alliance
Sandy came to us recommended by one of our students. We are delighted to have her here teaching Wednesdays and Fridays. Sandy is a Registered Physical Therapist interested in the rehabilitative benefits of Pilates and is Polestar trained. In her lessons, she gives modifications and educates students about their anatomy and proper postural alignment.
She is a patient, sweet and bubbly personality, but is serious about her teaching. She has been an educator as a faculty member at MTI teaching Anatomy, Kinesiology and Physiology, so she knows the body and will help you to understand yours. She is especially good helping less experienced students and those with restrictions to feel confident and successful as they explore the experience of feeling their bodies perform with greater efficiency and less pain.

Leslie has more than 25 years of experience teaching athletes, with over 6 years concentration on Pilates. She is a graduate of The Pilates School of Boulder and has Classical Pilates training with 2nd Generation Pilates Elders.
She is certified with Pilates Method Alliance and is a licensed instructor in Pilates for Buff Bones for osteoporosis. Leslie also works in a physical therapy clinic that has a focus subject on Pilates for Rehab.
Leslie is no stranger to intense physical training: she is a ballet dancer, First Level of the Majors at the Royal Academy and an equestrian with high level formal training in Sweden. She has developed a discerning eye for detail in movement and anatomy!
First and foremost, all three of our teachers are very focused on the details of movement to prevent strain or injuries from doing the exercises incorrectly.
