Learning the basic exercises on the mat is fundamental to a Pilates practice. Small groups allow personal attention while providing enough continuing movement to get a good workout. The exercises are easily done at home to improve your skills. A full practice combines both mat and equipment-based choices from the full repertoire.
Choices for the flow of exercises are taken from the Classical repertoire. Props are often used for variety, to support more difficult movements and to challenge specific muscle groups.
